sex partners

I agree with a few of the previous posts that people should be more open about sex education.  Especially parents.  I think that parents should let their kids know their expectations about sex, but also let them know that it is their decision and they will support them no matter what they decide to do.  I think that this would lower the rates of STD's and teenage pregnancies... if the kids weren't afraid to let their parents know that they are sexually active.  I think that as a professional it will be very important to help parents realize that they can't actually stop their kids from having sex, so they need to talk to their children who are sexually active even if they don't want them to be.
