genogram assignment

I really enjoyed doing the genogram assignment.  It was really cool just to look at it once it was all down on paper.  It wasn't anything that I didn't already know, but it did point some things out to me.  I noticed that my parents and one of my moms brother are the only ones out of that generation on both sides that hadn't had a divorce.  I also noticed that everyone who's gotten a divorce re-married someone who had previously been married and had kids.  I also noticed that I am close with a lot of people in my family.  It was kind of crazy to see how many people I was connected to with those "lines".  I am very thankful that I have such a great family and I'm so close with them!
